Thank you for subscribing to WORDS WITH WORD$. Our page has been read over 20,000 times in 33 states and 28 countries. We’ve released 23 interviews with artists including Stove God Cooks, Estee Nack, al.divino, Starker, YL, Jae Skeese, Chyna Streetz, Mickey Diamond, and Eto. Each article features Polaroid images from my archive of these rappers at different points in their careers. These are all artists that I believe in and respect.

I want to thank my friends Ryan and Brandon for helping kick this off the right way. It all started with an idea of how to continue what Ryan was doing at The Harvard Crimson through Substack. We sat in my living room in Lynn for hours, brainstorming how to put this page together and introduce these articles to you. Ryan introduced me to his friend Brandon, a student at Boston University, who has been transcribing and editing many of these interview conversations. They both are crucial components of WORDS WITH WORD$ and make sure we always present things properly. 

Ryan has allowed artists you listen to come to Harvard, get interviewed, and get published in The Harvard Crimson. Many of the artists that have been featured on this page got the chance to feel what it’s like to be an Ivy League student. I want to thank Ryan for that and thank Brandon for always being attentive to every detail, making sure things get executed properly. As far as these articles go, Ryan, Brandon, and I sit here, listen to the music, and decide who to interview. Then, Brandon transcribes and ensures any lingo gets translated before we send them out to you guys. 

Our journey has been amazing so far. We plan on interviewing more of your favorite artists, keeping you entertained, and bringing you more exclusive visuals and unreleased music. Congratulations to Ryan for graduating from Harvard and to Brandon for graduating from Boston University.
